This Privacy Policy explains how Automadic GmbH ("we", "us") collects and processes personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP).

2.2 Data Collection

We process personal data that you provide to us (e.g., via contact forms, email, or service sign-ups) or that is collected automatically when you visit our website (e.g., IP address, browser type).

Product usage data: when you use the 3d.automadic app while signed in, we record which features you use, with the time, your account and the related venue or file name, and on which days you used the app. We do not record the content of your files for this purpose.

2.3 Purpose of Processing

We use your data to:

• Provide our services and respond to inquiries.
• Ensure the technical stability and security of our website.
• Understand how our product is used, support our customers and improve our service.
• Comply with Swiss legal and record-keeping obligations.

2.4 Legal Basis

Data processing is based on contractual necessity, our legitimate interests (system security; operating, supporting and improving our service, incl. product usage data), or your explicit consent.

2.5 Data Transfers & Storage

Location: Data is primarily stored on servers in Switzerland or the EU.

Third Parties: We only share data with service providers (e.g., hosting) essential for our operations. For transfers to countries without adequate protection, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

2.6 Your Rights

Under the nFADP, you have the right to:

• Access your stored data.
• Correct or delete your data.
• Object to processing or request data portability.

2.7 Retention

We keep business records (invoices/contracts) for 10 years as required by Art. 957 OR. General inquiries are deleted once the matter is resolved. Product usage data is deleted after 24 months.
